• Bank details: account number, bank name, account holder name — needed to settle naira payments to you
• Identity verification (KYC): for transactions above our verification threshold, we collect and verify your Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN), along with a liveness check, through our verification partner
• Transaction information: cryptocurrency wallet addresses you send funds from, transaction amounts, and transaction history

• Basic usage data through Telegram's platform (message timestamps, interaction logs) needed to operate the bot
• Standard web analytics on usekrait.com (pages visited, general location, device/browser type) — see our Cookies section below

1.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information from our settlement, payment, and verification partners (see Section 3) confirming that a transaction, payout, or identity check was completed.

• Process your crypto-to-naira transactions and settle payments to your bank account

• Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable Nigerian law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for purposes unrelated to operating the Service without your consent.

We share information only where necessary to provide the Service:

• Settlement partner: to convert your cryptocurrency and pay out naira to your bank account
• Payment partner: to process referral withdrawal payouts
• Identity verification partner: to confirm your identity where KYC is required
• Regulators and law enforcement: where required by Nigerian law, court order, or regulatory request

We require these partners to handle your information securely and only for the purpose of providing services to Krait. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a five year period afterward as required to comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations (including anti-money-laundering recordkeeping requirements, where applicable).

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricting access to production systems, encrypting sensitive data in transit, and separating test and live environments. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing (this may limit your ability to use parts of the Service)
